About the role It's an exciting time to join the Strategic Partner team here at AXA, with significant investment planned in all UK&I businesses to transform, deliver new digital services to our customers and streamline and automate our business processes. To support with the implementation of strategic broker partner initiatives across the UK to deliver agreed strategy plan targets, we're looking for a talented individual to join the team. As Strategic Relationship Executive, you'll support the development of a panel of strategic brokers through leading the implementation of strategic broker initiatives by facilitating a swift, coordinated response from key stakeholders. At AXA we work smart, this role is location independent with the option to work on a hybrid basis, you'll travel to visit offices or client sites as required. What you'll be doing: Support the Strategic Relationship Managers in implementation of strategic partner broker initiatives to deliver agreed strategy plan targets and tracking of agreed scheduled services. Plan and support regular reviews of broker strategic development plans with the Branch Management teams. Review operational, financial and trading MI to ensure strategic brokers are performing to plan and provide recommendations of appropriate interventions. Maximise income and profit through MI analysis and pro-active review of appropriate initiatives. Support the planning, forecasting and managing of strategic broker panel with contribution to the financial planning cycle. Contribute to the delivery of new business against agreed profitability and income plans, budgets and timescales for strategic brokers. Facilitate the delivery of sales campaigns to maximise income and profits. Help develop trading activities for the strategic broker panel for the New Business Pipeline, Renewal Retention and Large Renewal Strategy. Support on contractual agreements ensuring a compliant management process is delivered. Previous experience of working in an underwriting, sales or commercial environment. Ability to establish and maintain networks and relationships across locations. Project management and financial planning experience would be beneficial. Interest in MI production, trend analysis, data capture and reporting. Understanding of the principles of underwriting and risk management. Appreciation of profitability of business within an intermediary channel. Proficient use of MS Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Ability to influence senior stakeholders and work to deadlines. As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorised to work in the United Kingdom. This position has been defined as an Insurance Distribution Directive (IDD) role under the IDD regime which means that in addition to pre-employment screening checks, the successful candidate will be subject to background screening every 4 years with an annual declaration in interim years.
