Contract: Permanent, part time (32 - 36 hours per week)

Have you got an interest in ECGs, heart rhythms, complex cardiothoracic surgery, and resuscitation?
If so, we are looking for enthusiastic, flexible and committed Registered Nurses to join our team and hit the ground running. Cardiology or cardiothoracic experience is preferred, but not essential. Due to the opening of additional beds we have 2.9 FTE permanent positions available.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
The Wellington Regional Heart and Lung Unit (Ward 6 South) is a 44 bed cardiology and cardiothoracic ward. Patients are admitted from throughout the central region for angiograms, pacing and EPS, cardiac and lung surgery, and cardiac assessment. It is a fast-paced, acute environment.
You will have:
Registration with the Nursing Council of NZ as a Registered Nurse
A current practicing certificate
Post registration experience in an acute setting

A current work visa

The local MHAIDS services are provided from multiple sites within the 3DHB sub-region - greater Wellington, Hutt Valley and Wairarapa.
