The Day Stay Unit at Nelson Hospital provides services for all surgery day cases, day of admission surgery, medical day cases and numerous infusion services. We are looking for positive registered nurse with robust clinical knowledge and a commitment to teamwork to join our unit, working 48 hours a fortnight (0.6FTE), across rostered and rotating shifts.

This role would suit a nurse who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has great assessment and time management skills, is confident in their practice, works autonomously and can relate well to a wide variety of stakeholders including patients, their families, our multidisciplinary team and surgeons.
Every day is different and our nurses enjoy the variety of work, the people they interact with, and the challenge of giving each patient the best customer experience, whilst ensuring that everything runs to schedule.
