ResponsibilitiesFunction as a staff physician in the Department of Neurology.Duties at KU will involve assisting in the general neurology clinics, Hospital rounds, teaching medical students and neurology residents, and fellows.Job DescriptionBe part of the Neurology program at the medical school.Supervise neurology residents.This will include supervision of residents in the hospital wards, and in the general neurology clinic.Generally, resident continuity clinic supervision is once a month.Teach medical students on the wards and in clinic and provide occasional lectures to medical students.Pursue scholarly activity in the areas of general neurology disease.See patients in the outpatient neurology clinic.Other duties as assigned.Required QualificationsMD or foreign degree equivalent to an MD. 2 years of training in a neurology program. Eligible for Kansas medical licensure. Background check required.
