The Registered Nurse – Clinical Coach is employed to support graduate nurses in their first year of practice to provide safe, effective client care using professional knowledge and skills.
This exciting opportunity is an outcome of the NZNO/DHB MECA Accord terms of settlement.Working under the guidance of the Nurse Co-ordinator NETP Programme, the Registered Nurse Clinical Coach provides direct clinical guidance and support to graduate nurses and their preceptors across BOPDHB district including primary health care and the aged residential care sector.
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with recent and varied clinical experience. Applicants must be committed to development of registered nurse practice, have achieved a minimum of Proficient PDRP and have engaged in post graduate study.
Knowledge of Tikanga, Te Tiriti o Waitangi, and the principles of Kaupapa Maori is also an asset. Applicants must be committed to implementing Te Toi Ahorangi strategy to ensure patients and their whanau move towards Toi Ora. The applicant must also role model this commitment to the new graduate nurses and the rest of the clinical team.
