Details of the offer

This role has overall responsibility for sales and customer service in the Retail Sales Area (RSA) and management of a standalone P&L. Responsible for the strategic vision of the RSA, which is achieved by coaching, leading by example, motivating and holding teams accountable to drive results. Key accountabilities Ownership and delivery of the RSA profitability and EBITDA budgets through a focussed approach to increase revenue and control costs. Regional strategy and plan (up to 3yrs) based on ANZ strategy and market trends Involved in the budget setting process to include OPEX and agreed targets are met. Financial analysis – cost analysis, revenue generation and assessment of trends and strategy Active involvement in the approval of strategic business plans (e.g. store locations, business cases, BD strategy etc.), contract and lease negotiation Development and implementation of strategic promotions and marketing plans Input into the margin management through influencing rate profiles and strategy Inventory management including the control of stock at a regional level ensuring the right product is allocated and replenished into stores at the right time whilst adhering to set budgets. People management including recruitment, rostering overview, authorisation, learning & development and performance management Internal and External stakeholder relationship management including regular formalised meetings with airport and shopping centre management. Ensure adherence to company and location policy and procedures Ensure all Operational processes are adhered to Any other reasonable instructions as required by the business Key interface/ relationships Internal stakeholders: All Retail staff, Head of Retail, Commercial Director, HR, Operations & Facilities, Compliance, Finance, Inventory, Pricing, Marketing External stakeholders: Customers, 3rd Party providers, Partners, Shopping Centre/Airport Management Role-specific experience and skills A strong record of performance improvement in their area of expertise, through increased sales, cost management or relevant performance measures A sound understanding of: general retail business practices financial services industry foreign exchange products and services and the operation of foreign exchange markets. Advanced financial and commercial analysis capabilities Demonstrated ability to lead by example, motivate, inspire and hold accountable a team of multi-site managers Demonstrated ability to inspire a sense of direction and purpose in others Demonstrated experience in managing a geographically disperse employee base. Demonstrated external and internal relationship management expertise at an operational level. Excellent influencing, negotiating and communications skills and high levels of personal confidence and self-sufficiency. Exceptional change management skills.
