A leadership opportunity has become available for a Regional Manager in Southern New Zealand, based out of our Christchurch Office. This is an exciting chance to step up into a fast-paced and successful company where you are rewarded for your results.
About the role
As the Regional Manager - Southern, you will play a critical role in driving growth and operational efficiency throughout the Canterbury and surrounding regions with a future focus on regional expansion.
You will be accountable for all day to day aspects of Service, Minor Contracting and operational aspects of the Branch facility. Whilst achieving financial, operational, administrative, commercial, and health & safety objectives.
Key to success in this role is having the ability to work at an operational and strategic level across multiple regions, divisions and types of work.
You will be required to:
Effectively lead from the front, build strong client relationships and display commercial ability. There will be a key focus on maintaining and developing a large client portfolio while driving strong operational effectiveness, as well as ensuring that all systems, people management tools and processes are in place to support any anticipated growth. You will have proven leadership skills leading a high performing diverse team across multiple locations.
Required Skills
We are interested in hearing from candidates with well-developed commercial acumen, proven sales leadership and client key account management.
Ideally, we seek those with industry exposure to the Commercial Refrigeration, Air Conditioning, or Engineering sectors, however we will consider those who are new to the industry as well.
We are seeking people who possess the below experience and competencies;
10 years' experience in a similar Management role
Ability to negotiate with suppliers/subcontractors
Proven track record in identifying and developing business, and delivering sales results with a team approach,
Identify issues and opportunities and tackle with pragmatic solutions,
Ability to drive Team performance
An exceptional leadership attitude towards operations (logistics)
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Calm and steady under pressure; resilient and patient
Strong Financial acumen, preparing financial Analysis and reports and achieving financial targets
Ability to meet deadlines and plan and prioritise
Accountability for making final decisions with company's best interest at hand
