McKenzie & Willis is a leading Interiors chain selling high quality home furnishings and interiors. We require a full time consultant to join the highly successful Linen & Homewares team in our Christchurch Showroom.Reporting to the Home Linens Manager, the successful applicant should have an interest in textiles and fabrics and be committed to providing excellent customer service. Experience in retail will be required for this role. You will be using our PC system for spread sheeting, running reports and updating the back end of our website, so knowledge and confidence in this area is needed. This is a 40 hour a week role which will include weekends.Ideal Requirements:· Retails sales experience, preferably in home linens or textiles· Proven ability to build positive relationships with customers both in store and through other channels· Solid computer skills and a good working knowledge of Excel.· Experience in working with orders and point of sales systems would be advantageous· Technical ability, attention to detail and accuracy· Excellent organisation and time management skills· Self-motivated· This role also has an element of stock handling so you will need to be fit and able to handle some bulky items· Passion for interiorsMcKenzie & Willis can provide a supportive, stimulating and rewarding environment while providing the challenges and opportunities to help you develop and grow your own career in the interiors industry.If you possess these skills and are looking to progress your career within a large and diverse organisation, we welcome your application.
