They now require an experienced Residential Quantity Surveyor based in their Tauranga head office. This position will see the successful candidate supporting National offices and project teams and ensuring construction costs are managed efficiently, and schedules of quantities are accurately recorded for material and labour costs.

The QS will maintain and promote the company’s commitment to providing a Quality Service and will work as an integral link to the Sales and Project Management teams.
Supply quotes for Licensees using the Companies software program
Provide accurate costs for exterior and interior packs
Work with Licensees to increase efficiency and reduce waste
Revise quotes as needed
Order exterior, interior packs and other national supply products
Assist Licensees with project based pricing
Ensuring Supplier pricing is accurate
Maintaining standard price files
Oversee a Junior QS
General Office Administration
To be considered for this role:
Have proven experience in a similar QS role within the residential construction environment
Be a strong communicator as you will be dealing with a wide range of people.
Strong IT capabilities with the ability to pick up new systems and software packages
Ability to deal with multiple tasks and high volumes
Great sense of humour while maintaining professionalism and accuracy
