Mo to turanga - About the role This role is responsible for managing the purchasing and co-ordination of equipment, supplies, services and maintenance for Presbyterian Support Central, with a specific focus on our clinical requirements. This entails prioritising needs, urgency, and cost-effectiveness to ensure optimal resource allocation. The role will work closely with staff across Enliven, Family Works, and our Property Team.
Additionally, the role is also responsible for supporting the Business Services & Sustainability team to build, develop, and maintain relationships and commercial agreements with key suppliers, to ensure quality products are purchased at the best possible price.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure PSC's procurement policies are followed. Coordinate and manage the purchase and distribution of products. Co-ordinate and facilitate maintenance and equipment servicing and repairs. Assist in the refurbishment of furniture and room upgrades alongside the property team. Oversee asset management and organise necessary servicing and repairs. Reporting and benchmarking in relation to products, services, and supplier performance Mo koe - About you A tertiary qualification in commerce, a clinical field or relevant and equivalent experience. A genuine interest in the not-for-profit sector, knowing that your mahi makes a difference to families in your community.  Ability to apply judgement, flexibility and problem-solving skills to your workload.  Positive 'can-do' attitude, happy to roll up your sleeves and rise to a challenge to work as part of a collaborative team.  A current and clean full driver licence Good level of computer literacy and knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.  What's in it for me?
