Job DescriptionReporting directly to Jane Kennelly, our Director of People, Marketing, and Stakeholder Management, the Corporate Communications Specialist will play a pivotal role in establishing and executing our corporate communications function.
Key responsibilities include: Strategic counsel and crisis management support, including the development of a robust crisis communications framework.Creation and implementation of a thought leadership program to solidify Skills Consulting Group as an industry leader.Stakeholder communications, including local and industry stakeholder engagement plans with clear, concise messaging.Media relations management, including training spokespeople, crafting media responses, and proactive media engagement.Executive communications support, including newsletters and briefing papers for company leadership.Government relations and regulatory affairs assistance as needed.The successful candidate will focus on laying the groundwork for the corporate communications function. This includes developing the crisis communications framework, conducting media training, launching the thought leadership program, and crafting stakeholder engagement plans. Close collaboration with the CEO, marketing, and internal communications teams will be essential for success.
