Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for small to medium-scale construction projects, subcontractor management, client relationships and daily call outs for repair and maintenance of Council assets. This is a diverse role where no two days are the same so you will need to demonstrate a variety of skills which include building, plumbing, liaising with clients and as the team grows, management of employees. Catch up with your Ops Manager, client or sub-contractor Head out to your scenic outdoor office where you will spend 50-75% of your day on the tools to support your team with anything from landscaping, installing, or repairing picnic tables and chairs, bollards, artworks, and shelters On other days, you could be conducting internal audits, pricing, and quoting for projects, assisting with tender submissions, organising subcontractors, planning, and coordinating for projects and liaising with clients About You Proven history in carpentry, plumbing, or landscape constructionProven experience in overseeing projects and managing work schedulesAbility to demonstrate strong organizational, leadership, and planning skills to effectively coordinate and manage your workloadStrong computing and administration skillsProven experience in managing subcontractors, ensuring quality assurance, and implementing comprehensive health and safety practicesDemonstrate a positive attitude towards working safelyExperience in effective communication with key stakeholders, clients, interest groups, and employeesCommitment to being an integral part of a broader team with a strong work ethicFull driver's license with the ability to drive a manual vehicleWhat's in it for you?
