Due to an internal promotion we are excited to be supporting Carus in their hunt for a proactive, forward thinking, hands on Project Manager to be based in Tauranga to cover the Waikato and BOP region.  You will be accountable for:  Maintaining effective and efficient end to end successful project completion Working to budgets and deadlines, running job sites that include body corporates, hotels and rest homes  Proactively addressing any project issues and controlling risk factors (e.g. health and safety) Maintaining positive site relations with clients and the team Motivating and managing a team of painters and contractors Ensuring Carus high quality standards are met, maintained & Living the Carus Core Values To be successful in this role you must be/have: Previous painting or construction experience is desirable Strong working knowledge of Microsoft office Experience managing and motivating a team Exceptional time management skills with the ability to multi-task conflicting priorities Knowledge and understanding of Health and Safety Proactive nature, with the ability to foresee and react to problems before they happen Excellent communication skills with the ability to build a good rapport with clients Ability to keep calm under pressure and make clear, decisive decisions In return, you will be supplied with a vehicle, phone and laptop and work in a supportive environment with the opportunity for career progression.
