Build your best future with the Johnson Controls team We have a great opportunity for a self-motivated Project Manager to be responsible for the assisted management and roll out of the JCI Fire Monitoring network transition program. As New Zealand's largest automated fire monitoring provider, this role will be in-charge of upgrading thousands of monitoring connections across the country before late 2025.

What you will do: Managing the processes, labour, and resources to upgrade each of our monitored sites
Communicate with customers in advance and that little to no disruption is experienced to the monitoring of their site and assets
Look after a team reporting to you dedicated to the project to assist with administration and technical support
How you will do it: Contract Planning & Scheduling:
Review program specification and design
Review Contract responses and action, i.e. Works programs, cash flows, occupational Health and Quality Assurance
Review project scheduling
Allocate labour resource
Negotiate subcontractor services
Order equipment
Contract Implementation & Resolution:
Respond to requirements for equipment, labour, and documentation
Monitor and promote where possible variations
Action and maximise progress invoicing
Action and process contract correspondence
Undertake cost-to-complete
What we look for: Bachelor's degree in Business specifically Project Management
Previous Fire Protection experience around Projects
High degree of problem-solving ability
Experience with Projects fire protection systems
Fire, Electrical or Telecommunications experience preferable
High degree of written and verbal communication skills
Ability to assist in the development of a program
With good technical knowledge
With people management skills and ability to negotiate
