This role can be based anywhere in New Zealand . Note that this role is a 12 month fixed term contract.The Implementation / Project Manager reports directly to the Delivery Director, and collaborates on a daily basis with the Delivery Director and Senior Project Manager. The role is both strategic and operational.Strategically, this person will work 3-6 months ahead of the Teams to ensure solutions, capacity and capability for the Programme are well-planned and fit within Flux's engineering and product strategies.Operationally they will provide support and guidance to teams, Delivery Director and Senior Project Manager and work collaboratively with the Product, Client Success and Sales & Marketing, Engineering teams to monitor delivery health and maintain project controls such as Schedules, Risk, Issues, Assumptions and Decision Registers commonly used to control enterprise scale projects. This role brings together governance reports for governance meetings and supports the governance process.Key ResponsibilitiesYou will be responsible for:Ensuring that key initiatives within the Flux Implementation Portfolio Of Work are well coordinated, dependencies are managed and business outcomes are reported on, calling out risks and issues proactively.Supporting the Delivery Director to ensure a high level of communication and coordination is maintained with clients at all times.Promoting high standards while maintaining the pragmatism required to deliver real world outcomes in our agile environment.Working closely with Senior Project Manager and Client counterparts to ensure the right outcomes are being achieved in an efficient manner.Finding and removing obstacles, and smoothing the way for the Implementation team to perform well and initiatives to be delivered.Clearly communicating what is achievable and what needs to be done from a Flux point of view to make the work successful.Ensure that the correct people are involved with project planning and operation.With the assistance of the Delivery Director, monitor and report on initiatives and implementations.
