An opportunity to work with New Zealand's leading supplier and manufacturer in Commercial Air Conditioning and Refrigeration.We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to lead a project for our warehouse /supply chain planning and reorganization. This is going to be a 6-month fixed-term contract.In the Project Manager role, you will work with our Warehouse / Supply chain and Share Services team carry on all aspects of the project planning, coordination, implementation, and reporting out of project results, in conjunction with and through the project teams. You will also be a critical member to work with our suppliers, consultants, and service providers to further improve our existing systems.This role requires business travels between our Auckland Head Office and Tauranga Service Branch.In this role your key responsibilities will be:Identify, evaluate and define project needs and scope detail;Create detailed project plans that provide the scope, objectives, timelines and resource requirements. This involves working closely with cross-functional teams to define project goals and results assure deliverable are attained within budget, timeline and varied project objectives as defined;Develop and recommend project plan on basis of business requirements, arrangement of project team, project metrics design, KPI's and reporting;Estimate logistics related resources and time and establish priorities;Implement the approved project plans on time in budget, in conjunction with the project teams;Develop communication plan working with team members, stakeholders and project sponsors;Manage risk and develop risk mitigation plan;Manage the project and ensure it is completed on time;Ensure stakeholders are across the full project and are engaged where necessaryKey Competencies required:5 years' experience in project management, supply chain, logistics and manufacturingMust be proficient in project planning and understand the roles of the team membersProven knowledge of project management principles and best practicesStrong interpersonal and communicationWhat can we offer you?McAlpine Hussmann is at the leading edge of providing commercial refrigeration and air conditioning throughout Australasia.
