Who are we looking for

We need an experienced Project Accountant to join our Finance Team on a fixed term contract. We need someone who has good financial systems and accounting experience, who preferably understands Local Government funding and financial mechanisms, is results-orientated, adaptable, forward thinking and able to manage service providers and stakeholders to deliver outstanding outcomes.

Based in Ngaruawahia, this is a 12 month contract position.

As a qualified accountant you will come to us with experience in a similar role in and be ready to hit the ground running. In this role you will work closely with the Finance Team and other stakeholders using your confident communication style and good judgement skills to successfully collaborate with service providers and stakeholders in delivering robust decision-making. You will have experience with a range of finance skills, is a skilled SQL user and preferable had exposure to Technology One systems. You'll be comfortable with change and your innovative approach will assist in implementing new ways to streamline processes and reporting. Your years of experience mean you are ideally placed to support and mentor those around you.
