In this role you will lead the delivery and execution of key strategic improvement initiatives in alignment with our Customer Service Delivery and Strategic Contracts and Relationships Business Plans. You'll play a critical role in linking business units together to achieve positive change for the organisation. As a people leader you'll also lead a small team of commercial analysts and support the ongoing development of this function.
A key focus will be ensuring effective risk, issue & dependency management to realise planned benefits whilst balancing a variety of priorities for the team.
You'll do this through:
Developing strategic initiative roadmaps, plans, budgets, and benefits casesMonitoring and managing program execution to meet budget, milestone, and benefit outcomes, ensuring risks, issues and program interdependencies are managed effectively, taking corrective action as neededDeveloping and implementing the programme strategies, engaging with strategic level forums. Including developing engagement strategies based on business needs and industrial changes in marketplace and communicating those strategies to the business, developing and managing the relationship with the key stakeholdersLeading the design of the Strategic Projects operating modelCreating, owning and communicating a compelling vision and goals for multiple teams, helping people at all levels to understand how the parts fit together into a wholeDefining how the team, and various projects, should impact broader business objectives and creating a team environment that builds accountability for and commitment to meeting objectivesYou'll be an experienced Programme Manager, with proven experience in shaping, creating and managing strategic programmes and all that that entails.
As this role is one of influence versus control, you'll bring with you strong communication skills , the ability to build effective and long lasting relationships with a variety of stakeholders (both internal and external).
You'll combine that with:
A commercial and analytical mind setAn eye for innovative and creative solutionsA PMP or PRINCE 2 Certification would be highly beneficial and if you are member ofBABOK (Business Analysis Body of Knowledge), APICS/ NZPICs (Association for Operations and Supply Chain Professionals) that would be an added bonus.
