Production Storeperson

Position:Production Storeman
Location:HYDAC Pty Ltd,Altona North, Victoria
Primary Function:
Focus on Warehousing and Logistics in production facility
Accountabilities (including but not limited to):
Loading & unloading trucks with a Forklift
Inspection of incoming goods including basic quality inspections
Communicating with other departments on received goods
Data entry of inwards goods into the computer system
Sorting and filing of relevant documents with reference to shipments
Transferring goods into the appropriate racks or storage location
Ongoing stock checking, counting and verification
Picking of parts based on a Bill of Material or Production Order
Packing and dispatch of finished goods
Prepare documents for dispatch
Assist with arranging of transportation for outwards goods

Maintaining the factory and store area in a clean and safe condition

Perform administrative tasks and documentation control as per HYDAC ISO System
Perform regular crane and forklift checks

Qualifications:
Forklift Licence backed up with demonstrable forklift driving experience
Cert IV Warehousing certificate or similar
Stock Picker licence would be an advantage

Additional Skills:
Very good written and verbal communication skills in the English language
High attention to detail

Can-do positive attitude
Reliability with a good work ethic and organisational skills

Committed to ensure that tasks are followed through and completed efficiently

Barcode scanning experience
A good level of mechanical aptitude an advantage

Experience:
Minimum 3 years working in a warehouse environment.
