Production Engineer

We are seeking an enthusiastic Engineer to join our Manufacturing Improvement Team and be responsible for: Working on initiatives to improve both the PRODUCT and PROCESS that ultimately improve the quality, increase output and reduce cost.Solving any manner of technical problem through hands-on as well as analytical methods.Producing technical drawings, conducting tests, writing reports and documenting processes as required. The ideal candidate will have: Bachelor of Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering degree or relevant tertiary qualification.2-3 Years' experience working in product/process development or manufacturing environment.Familiarity with various manufacturing processes.Excellent understanding of engineering principles (esp. mechanics of materials) and the ability to verify integrity of designs by way of manual calculations.Experience with SolidWorks and PDM software.Exposure or prior knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.Ability to coordinate projects and meet planned timelines.Competent written and verbal communication skills.So, what's in it for you?
