With packhouses in Te Puna and Te Puke, our innovative and dynamic leadership sees DMS consistently perform in the top 10% of kiwifruit packing and coolstore performance in the Bay of Plenty.Position Overview:Join our team as a Production Coordinator, where you'll primarily operate the sizing/grading machine in the packhouse. Your role is crucial in controlling the flow and quality of kiwifruit across the machine, ensuring our produce meets the highest standards.What You'll Do:Operate the sizing/grading machine with precision and efficiency.Utilize your experience in MAF Roda, Envision, automation, and tray fillers to maintain optimal machine performance.Work closely with harvest and site managers to coordinate operations and address any issues that arise.Ensure the smooth flow of kiwifruit through the machine, maintaining efficient packout rates.What We're After:Team Player: You work well with a variety of people and personalities, contributing positively to the team dynamic.Problem Solver: Quick thinking and adept at finding solutions, especially in fast-paced environments.Learner at Heart: You're always eager to learn and improve, adapting to new technologies and processes.Mechanical Minded: You understand the intricacies of machinery and can troubleshoot effectively.The Deal:Brace yourself for the high-energy peak season (generally March – June) where flexibility is our superpower.
