Volvo Group Australia currently has an exciting opportunity for an experiencedProduct Quality Engineerto join our award winning Aftersales team. You will play a vital role in developing product quality in Mack, UD and Volvo trucks in Australia and the nominated Export markets, while ensuring the brand image and reputation is upheld at all times. This is a fantastic role that invites you to be a member of a close-knit team to provide technical support to the dealer network and field personnel.

About the Role:
Develop the quality of the product to ensure continued growth and Customer satisfaction
Ensure quality defects are reported and actioned through the MQR/PRP process.
Process scope is from Dealer to Market Ready.
Provide technical support to the Dealer/Importer network and field personnel.
Provide local service information to the Dealer/Importer network and field personnel.
Key focus on connectivity & diagnostics.
Close co-operation with Group Truck Technology to report, investigate and resolve technical concerns reported by the dealer network.
Some support to help desk is required.

About you:
An electrical/mechanical engineering degree.
Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role and/or previous experience in a production / manufacturing environment.
Basic understanding of Australian Design Rules (ADR).
Ability to read and understand electrical wiring diagrams and general engineering drawings.
Industry knowledge of truck applications.
Customer orientated mind set and strong business/commercial acumen.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills at all levels.
Great interpersonal skills with proven ability to maintain strong relationships.
Strong analytic and diagnostic skills.
Experience within the heavy vehicle technical sector.
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Strong problem solving and resolution skills.
Team player who is level headed and thrives under pressure.
