Working with GM, travel & autonomy.If, like me, you're annoyed by people using apostrophe's incorrectly (yes, deliberate)If you get wound up by incorrect spelling in a formil document....(yes, I know)If you feel totally frustrated when issues could have been avoided if only people had done things PROPERLY!....If you feelthings would be better with YOU ensuring quality standards were met,that our frail elderly deserve the gold standard in clinical care,that aged care facilities need YOU to tidy things up, teach and mentor, sharing your vast knowledge and understanding of what is required, then you just might be the person we need!Medcall is working with our client, a well-respected provider of residential aged care facilities around NZ, to find the very best person for this role!Working closely with the GM of Clinical & Quality, you will be relied on to:Oversee quality standards across the organisationCreate and manage a Quality Assurance programmePrepare sites for certification and internal auditsRun Facility Health ChecksBenchmark clinical care, analyse & compile reportingSurvey staff and residents to assess satisfactionManage complaints process, investigations and quality improvementsDrive a culture of ongoing clinical and operational improvement.Working from the Auckland office in Newmarket, you will often be on-site at one of the facilities (North & South Islands), providing input, support and guidance to the Care Home Managers and clinical teams there, ensuring their processes and sites align with compliance standards.You will need:Several years' experience in a clinical leadership role in NZ's aged care sector(Ideally) Understanding of Sector Guidance for Nga Parewa HDSS NZS 8134 : 2021 and Residential Aged Care Contract, and the Designated Agency Audit Handbook (MOH NZ)NZ Nursing registration and current APCExcellent computer skills (Microsoft, Excel) and experience using various IT platformsFull, clean NZ driver's licenceAn eye for detail, precision, and to constantly be looking for ways to initiate improvementsIncredible interpersonal skills & the ability to bring people along with you for the rideEmpathy, understanding and compassionProfessionalism and the ability to work with a wide range of personnelAbility to juggle a busy workload, prioritising and meeting deadlinesThe ability to travel nationally, visiting Care Homes within the groupTo be happy working autonomously, whilst maintaining close contact with the GM of Clinical & Qualityand a great sense of humour wouldn't go amiss either!Join an organisation that is well established, with many years' experience, as they continue to grow and expand.You will be valued and appreciated, working closely with the management team.This is a full time role, Monday to Friday.These ones don't come along every day.
