We have an exciting opportunity for a Procurement and Contracts Manager to join our fast paced team at Penrose, Auckland.
YOUR TASKS:
Conduct thorough sourcing efforts to identify suitable contractors and engage in negotiations to secure favorable rates and terms. Manage contract drafting, evaluation, and execution processes efficiently. Cultivate and nurture strong, enduring relationships with both external transport contractors and internal stakeholders. Proactively monitor the status of existing contracts, managing processes for close-out, extension, or renewal as necessary. Lead and facilitate comprehensive performance reviews of contractors in collaboration with operations stakeholders, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. Resolve contract-related issues and maintain compliance standards. YOUR PROFILE:
Previous experience in contract management Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Strong interpersonal skills Familiarity with logistics industry (desirable) Proficient in contract drafting, negotiation, and stakeholder collaboration Degree in business, law, or commerce preferred Results-oriented, trustworthy and adaptable OUR OFFER:
