The Principal Advisor Policy and Capability will be responsible for assessing the capability needs of both Groups and bringing together a robust plan to ensure our policy staff have the professional development they need to do their jobs effectively. Relationship management skills and a strong understanding of the policy process, along with a desire to help upskill others will be critical to succeed in the role. The Principal Advisor will be required to source the best capability resources for the Groups, and at times may also be required, alongside the Principal Policy Analysts of both Groups, to deliver programmes internally.
The Principal Advisor Policy and Capability reports to a Policy Director, with dotted lines to the General Managers of both Groups. The role has a high degree of autonomy and will therefore suit an organised self-starter. This is a part-time position, up to 30 hours a week, with flexibility around the structure of the work week.
