The Role As the Facilities Manager you are responsible for assisting the Head of Facilities Management in providing professional and comprehensive Facilities Management services to a portfolio of commercial properties in the Wellington and Canterbury regions. Key Responsibilities Day-to-day maintenance of the Wellington and Canterbury property portfolio Planning and delivery of capital projects. Building Warrant Fitness (BWOF) compliance First point of contact for the tenants for all maintenance related issues alongside our 24/7 service desk team including dealing with emergencies where the need arises. Preparing, presenting and managing reports and budgets Cost/value management, ensuring maximum value for all purchases Ensure the Oyster portfolio is aligned with NABERSNZ best practice Management of operational finances including processing of invoices Responsible for the engagement and ongoing relationship of contractors, their formal contracts and for ensuring that they carry out required work as per agreed specifications and in line with the wider business strategy. Ensure Oyster Health and Safety policies and procedures are being adhered to at all times whilst contractors are working on the Oyster Portfolio. About you A Facilities Manager with a minimum of 5 years experience, this includes hard services and the coordination of projects such as fit outs and structural projects. Commercially minded and articulate. A team player with excellent interpersonal skills, effectively collaborates with internal/external parties to ensure a high quality service is provided to tenants and high quality outcomes are achieved for the assets under your management.
