About the role
We are seeking Plant Operators to join our team. You will be involved in the trenching and small excavations around joint pits and installation of electrical utilities, including the installation of ducting. This may include earth bank installation. You will be a key player in the event of emergency fault work with the need of excavations to facilitate emergency repair work of our jointing teams.
This will include operating plant such as excavators, loaders, trench compactors as well as Class 2 and Class 4 vehicles.
Manual labour will form about 70% of this role, which will include digging, hauling cable, carrying and lifting.
