Key ResponsibilitiesWhat we need from you A planning degree recognised by the New Zealand Planning Institute2+ years resource consent / planning experience in New Zealand Knowledge and experience of applying the Resource Management Act to development and infrastructure. A good working knowledge of district and regional planning and consenting. Experience in Council, stakeholder, iwi, and community liaison and engagement. An understanding of the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi Site visits could be anywhere across New Zealand so, a willingness to travel is preferred in this role as we're a national consultancy and our site visits may be off the beaten track. You will have the opportunity to be involved in a mixture of projects including, policy development, undertaking planning due diligence, assisting local councils with processing resource consents and acquiring resource consents for a range of development projects. Demonstrated experience in local government and/or private sector is definitely preferred.
