The details: Permanent part-time 32 hours per fortnight

Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity An opportunity has arisen for a physiotherapist to join our busy in home strength and balance service. You will work as part of a team providing an efficient and effective service to our clients. The position will include the opportunity to extend your skills with the support and enthusiasm of a small team.
This position is ideal for a physiotherapist who is self-motivated, able to work independently at delivering services to patients. The role requires the successful applicant to be adaptable to change, resourceful, and flexible to the services needs and to have a genuine passion for working with patients and their whanau on their health journey.

NZ physiotherapy registration, and a current annual practising certificate. Current valid full New Zealand drivers licence. The ability to work autonomously and collaboratively as part of the physiotherapy and wider multi-disciplinary team across a variety of environments. Excellent communication skills in order to effectively liaise with patients, their whanau, and other health care professionals. Experience providing community based physiotherapy is desirable but not essential. The Physiotherapy service has approximately 90 staff including Physiotherapists, assistants and administrators that work across the large geographical area that is Te Whatu Ora, Waikato. We have staff based at Waikato Hospital, our secondary hospital in Thames and our 3 rural hospitals in Tokoroa, Te Kuiti and Taumaranui and across our many community bases in areas such as Morrinsville, Matamata, Cambridge, and Ngaruawahia.
