We are looking for an experienced PA / administrator to support our senior management team for the Radiology Department.
Auckland DHBis NZ's 4th largest DHB with approximately 11000 employees and provides medical services to the central Auckland region. We also provide some specialised services to the whole of New Zealand and the Pacific region. Our approach is patient-centred healthcare, which means the needs of our patients are at the heart of everything we do.
This position is based in Auckland City Hospital working eight hour days for 9 days per fortnight with every alternate Monday off.
As the PA, you will provide support for the daily operational, administrative and clerical functions for the senior management team for Radiology department. In this busy role, no two days will be the same and with your expert organisational skills you will ensure your Managers/Directors are in the right place at the right time. You will be fully prepared with the right information and use your initiative to screen calls, emails and visitors, manage the diary and correspondence, take meeting minutes, arrange travel, prepare presentations and reports and be prepared to take on projects as and when required. You will also work closely with the Team Administrator for Radiology Clinicians and will provide cover for them as required.

As the ideal candidate for this role you :

will be an accomplished communicator with sound interpersonal skills and a professional, warm approach
will have proven experience in supporting senior leaders in large, complex organisations and will be able to effectively co-ordinate with internal and external customers alike
will be comfortable working autonomously and cope well under pressure, juggling priorities and meeting deadlines
will have strong word processing and information management skills including practical experience in databases and Microsoft Office
will also possess a high level of personal and professional integrity and can be relied on to maintain the strictest confidentiality
