The Position
A Permanent GP is sought for a lovely practice in South Taranaki. Working 8-10 sessions per week - this is an integrated health and community services provider with several GPs, whanau ora and social services onsite.
Working with a broad range of family medical and specialist community services, they also operate a walk-in clinic. The patient population has a diverse cultural background, currently there are 6400 registered patients. Located in a modern purpose built Medical Centre, you will join a team of 1 Nurse Practitioner, 5 Nurses, 4 other GPs, 3 admin and a dedicated Practice Manager.
Clinic hours are 8.30am - 5.00pm with standard 15 minute appointments. Paperwork time is incorporated into the sessions with a 1 hour lunch break.

Situated in a large town in South Taranaki known for its rich agriculture, farming, oil and gas reserves, the region is full of native bush and wildlife. Along with being a very affordable region to live, there is excellent hiking, large parks to explore and plenty of other adventure sports to try across the region from the coast to the mountain ranges.
Taranaki also boasts a large number of cultural and entertainment events, with big international acts performing at the iconic Bowl of Brooklands and WOMAD adding another highlight to the music and arts calendar.
Essential Criteria
