This position oversees and supports quality based frameworks and policy to enable the business to safely and reliably deliver the energy needs of Aotearoa.You can expect to:Lead a small team of talented professionals.Assist with delivery of the Group HSEQ Plan, working with the broader People, Safety and Sustainability (PSS) team.Identifying, developing and implementing change across the organisation.Promote the use and continuous development of safety management systems, standards and tools throughout the business.Process, policy or procedure redesign and development.Develop and embed internal H&S training.Support the development, implementation and management of wellness programmes (Got Your Back).Reporting to the Manager, Health and Safety (Christchurch based); this role can be based in Taranaki, Waikato or Christchurch.He aha tau e kawe mai (What you will bring)Along with your relevant Health and Safety qualifications and 5+ years demonstrable proactive H&S experience you will have:People leadership experienceSuperior communication and influencing skillsPassion for continuous improvement and outside the box thinking.Strong experience with writing, reporting and training.Experience with behavioural based safety observation programmes.A relevant tertiary Health, Safety or Environmental Management qualification.You'll be valued for who you are, rewarded for what you do and supported to thrive.
