Peer Support Worker Infant Maternal Mental Health and Addictions (non clinical)
This position exists to provide a high quality, culturally appropriate, therapeutic support for whanau living with or affected by perinatal mental Health or addiction issues. This role will be based at Te Whare Oranga and will work with the Infant Maternal Mental Health Clinical Specialist and across the community groups who support Perinatal Mental Health up to the age of 12 months.
The role will work in an assertive outreach model adopting a what ever it takes approach to engage with whanau and build a therapeutic relationship.
