Relocation assistance available if you need to relocate to Gisborne Free onsite parking This position is based in the community where you will be working with people of all ages with physical disabilities and long-term illness to participate in their daily occupations. The ideal candidate will have a willingness to learn about wheelchair and seating assessments, pressure care intervention, cognitive assessments and housing modification assessments. With additional benefits : The remuneration range for this role is $59,035 to $ 85,992 and is covered by the collective agreement : PSA Allied Position Description Occupational Therapist Mou - About you Successful applicants are to have be registered with the OT Board of New Zealand and hold a current practising certificate. They must also hold a current, clean and full driver's licence (ability to drive a manual is desirable but not essential). Overseas applicants can be considered providing they are eligible for OT Board registration. Desirable skills to bring would include : Self-sufficient, organised, good communicator, motivated, takes initiatives. Enjoys working with people of all ages and different professions. Has the ability to think on their feet, work at times in a quick-paced environment. Can effectively problem solve and think laterally. Hard working, inquisitive, open to all learning opportunities.
