New Zealand Police is seeking a Payroll Officer to be part of our busy centralised Payroll Team located at Police National Headquarters in Wellington. We are looking for agile and experienced applicant who can hit the ground running and support NZ Police in the delivery of accurate and timely payroll services.
NZ Police is the lead agency responsible for reducing crime and enhancing community safety. Our vision is to have the trust and confidence of all. You will be working with a hard-working and enthusiastic team who are part of a high performing People Group function.
Skills and Experience:
Ability to produce accurate work, sometimes under pressure, and willingness to work as part of a team
Good numeracy, verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge of relevant employment legislation, including but not limited to the Holidays Act, the Employment Relations Act, the Wages Protection Act and the Privacy Act
Personal attributes and temperament relevant to the position
Ideally some background in NZ payroll processing
Working in end-to-end payroll systems
Special Requirements:
