The Challenge – Should you choose to accept it
Based in Manukau reporting to the Financial Controller, this is a business essential role where you will manage the payroll function for Frucor Suntory across New Zealand and Australia, ensuring payrolls deadlines are met, compliant and accurate whilst providing the Payroll team with guidance and leadership ensuring a high level of customer experience.
You will add value to the company by keeping abreast of and adhering to current and new legislative requirements, managing payments to external agencies, ensuring all month end reporting and journals are completed on time, ensuring that the payroll system is upgraded and using most up to date version, working alongside the People team to deliver annual remuneration and incentive review and identifying areas of improvement and escalate to the business where required.
Where do you fit in?
We are looking for someone who is open minded and willing to drive change, actively seeks out what is current, intuitive and forward thinking.
You will need to have payroll experience and be current on payroll processing, have knowledge and experience with current legislation, knowledge of employment agreements and country legal requirements. Essential to the role is people management experience, strong Excel and reporting skills, experience working with a range of key stakeholders and the ability to make strong decisions. Desirable experience includes time and attendance processing, Australian payroll and SAP.
