Mitre 10 (NZ) Limited is New Zealand's leading DIY home improvement retailer, and we have an exciting payroll systems opportunity within our Finance team.
While our stores are all owner-operated, an increasing number are looking to the Support Centre (Albany, North Shore) to provide a bureau service for their payroll function. There are several projects in-flight the continued on-boarding of store payrolls into our bureau and the migration of our stores from their individual payroll systems into PayGlobal as part of a broader Time & Attendance project.
This is an interesting and diverse role, which will see you taking accountability for driving improvements and efficiencies within our payroll bureau service. It will see you providing payroll leadership across systems improvements, , payroll migration and reporting. You will manage any system queries, investigating and resolving issues as they arise. Within this role you have the Payroll Manager along with the Payroll Systems Manager reporting to you.
Reporting to the Group Reporting & Tax Manager you will:
Given the diversity of existing legacy systems in our stores, this will be a challenging role it will really call on your collaboration and communication skills, along with your systems savvy.
