ResponsibilitiesThe Role:We are seeking aOcean Operator incl. Projectsto join our growingAucklandTeamThis position is required to:Take ownership of shipments, ensuring they are completed on time and accurately within the customers’ expectations;
Clearly understand the customers’ requirements, deadlines and special needs;
Understand the operational cut offs and ensure all documents and processes are completed in time to avoid delays and offloads;
Review all options available to provide the best rates and service to the customer;
Create Shipments and consols accurately and with complete information as required;
Ensure all compliance requirements are met.
Assist with project related tasks as required.
QualificationsCompetencies and Skills Required:Excellent Customer Service skills
Relationship management and influencing skills
Excellent communication skills, highly service orientated
Advanced computer skills (MS Word, Excel etc.)
Experience in the Freight Forwarding/Logistics industry
Highly experienced in building and maintaining Supplier Relationships
Equivalent combination of Education and experience
