About the role
We are looking for a Nurse Co-ordinator for to join our dedicated elective services team. The role involves assessing the needs of patients on the waiting list and co-ordinating theatre lists to ensure we make the best use of our resources. This role reports to the Elective Services Manager and has the support of nursing colleagues. The successful applicant will have, a strong patient focus, enthusiasm, and eye for detail and be passionate about nursing excellence.
Duties
Liaising with surgeons and clinic nurses to optimize patients
Manage the surgical wait list and escalate any issues with scheduling
Liaising with external suppliers of graft tissue
Coordinate a seamless patient journey from first specialist appointment to theatre.

Skills & Experience
Sound clinical nursing skills, ideally in a surgical environment
3 years nursing experience
Current nursing annual practicing certificate
Great communication skills
Ability to direct and support administration team
