We are seeking an experienced Learning & Development Manager to lead the L&D team and elevate the learning initiatives from good to great. Reporting to the General Manager, People & Capability, you will strategise and implement programs that enhance the organisational capabilities in alignment with the strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement L&D strategies that support continuous leadership skill improvement. Manage operational aspects of L&D including graduate and apprenticeship programs. Oversee the learning management system and collaborate with IT and external providers. Design and deliver engaging and effective leadership development, coaching, and mentoring programs. Build robust relationships with internal and external stakeholders to enhance L&D effectiveness. Some travel will be required, to connect with teams and learners on multiple sites. About you: Resilient, energetic and collaborative, you will be an experienced people leader. Articulate, you are not shy stating your case, and confident in your L&D super powers. Extensive experience in strategic and operational L&D within complex organisations. Familiar with NZQA framework, Workforce Development Councils, and Te Pukenga. Proficient in blended learning solutions (e-learning, virtual, face-to-face). Strong presentation, facilitation, and communication skills. Tertiary qualification in Adult Education or related field.
