Location:  Our central office is in Hawkes' Bay but we are open to remote working and offer nationwide travel opportunitiesAbout The RoleAs the National Field Sales Manager for TotalEnergies New Zealand, you will be pivotal in shaping the company's sales landscape, merging strategic leadership with innovative practices to drive nationwide sales performance and team excellence.In this role, you would have the opportunity to:Lead and mentor a team of 10 Sales Managers nationwide and foster a culture of safety, sustainability, and continuous improvement.Develop and maintain strong working relationships with Category and Operations Managers and ensure all branches work as one cohesive unit.Play a key role in developing customer-centric strategies, upholding TotalEnergies NZ's status as New Zealand's most valued lubricants company.Actively seek ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance technical, management, and leadership expertise for Sales Managers.Manage and oversee the national sales budget, ensuring alignment with the company's financial objectives.Champion Health, Safety & Wellbeing practices within the organization, and ensure that appropriate actions are taken, and reporting responsibilities are met.What You Bring to the TableOur ideal candidate willbe an accomplished leader, preferably with at least 10 years of experience in a senior leadership role within a sales environment. Exposure to the lubricants or related industries would also be beneficial.In addition to the above, we are looking for a candidate with:Proven experience in high-level strategic planning and execution, including market analysis and long-term strategy development at a national or international level.Exceptional ability to foster cross-regional team integration and promote a unified and collaborative working environment.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the aptitude for having courageous conversations (radical candour) to address any issues.Strong business acumen, with the ability to make sound decisions that align with the company's strategic values and culture.High proficiency in sales management, performance metrics, and budgeting, and a successful track record in strategic sales planning and achieving sales targets.You do not need to meet all of the role requirements to apply.
