The Opportunity
We are working with clients in New Zealand/Australia to recruit Mental Health Nurses for Permanent roles. Our client is a dynamic employer that focuses on providing the highest standards of clinical and community care and support.

Skills and experienceIdeally you will hold a degree level qualification in Nursing plus a Post Graduate Diploma in Mental Health Nursing , or a degree level qualification in Mental Health Nursing. You should have at least 2 years demonstrated Mental Health experience in hospital or community settings, and will need to be eligible for registration with New Zealand and or Australian Nurses Boards. You will have demonstrated experience in delivering a range of mental health programs and interventions working with patients at different stages of recovery; from early intervention and prevention to rehabilitation and ongoing community support.Essential Criteria
Holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Mental Health Nursing or equivalent and possess current registration with AHPRA.
Demonstrated commitment to mental health consumer recovery.
Knowledge of relevant legislation.
Knowledge of contemporary and ethical mental health nursing practice.
Demonstrated ability to undertake comprehensive nursing assessments of mentally ill patients, and to plan, implement and evaluate nursing interventions.
Effective Communication skills.
Current National Police Clearance Certificate.
