Medical Imaging Technologist - Nuclear Medicine at Te Whatu Ora - Health New Zealand Capital, Coast & Hutt Valley, Wellington Hospital Location: Wellington Regional HospitalContract: Monday to Friday - Business hours (8 hours per day, shifts cover 7am - 5pm)(This role falls under theAllied, Scientific, and Technical workforce pay equity settlement and anincrease in designated scales and banding will follow shortly)We are looking for a dynamic qualified Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team in the Radiology Department at Wellington Hospital.The Nuclear Medicine department has two dual head SPECT/CT gamma cameras (a Siemens Intevo with diagnostic CT and Phillips Brightview with low dose CT). The Siemens Intevo is used as a diagnostic CT to support the Radiology CT department.Radiopharmaceuticals are prepared on site, and we perform approximately 2500 procedures annually. Diagnostic procedures include skeletal, renal, cardiac, gastrointestinal, sentinel lymph node and tumour imaging. With no shift work or on call service, the Nuclear Medicine team find the balance between work and life easy to maintain. Daily shifts range from 7am to 5pm, great for an early finish, or a later start.
