Matauranga Maori and Engagement Lead Drive positive impact within your hapori, iwi and hapu Collaborative relationships Ensure Te Ao Maori perspectives and aspirations are part of what we do Te Whiwhinga Mahi | The Opportunity As the Matauranga Maori and Engagement Lead you will be responsible for building strong relationships with whanau Maori in the community. This is an opportunity to lead the development of programmes and services that are culturally appropriate and meet the specific needs of Maori. Demonstrate your manaakitanga by fostering a welcoming environment that reflects Maori values and Tikanga. This role is pivotal in strengthening relationships with Maori stakeholders and will contribute to the organisations wider bi-cultural development, including supporting the preservation of Maori heritage. Mou Ake | About You Ideally you will have a background in Maori studies, history or teaching and be passionate about creating engaging programmes the support and uplift Matauranga Maori. You will be a natural connecter and thrive in an environment where you can lead engagement with iwi, hapu, and the wider community. We are seeking candidates with demonstrable experience: Knowledge of Te Reo Maori me ona tikanga Strong research and analytical skills Stakeholder engagement and ability to build ongoing relationships both internally and externally.
