Established in 1968 and located in the heart of the Waikato's dairying region, our Reporoa site has grown its capability to process 2.5 million litres of milk per day.
About the opportunity | Te whai waahi As the Maintenance Team Leader for our Reporoa site, you will be responsible for improving plant performance. As the main conduit between our Maintenance and Production teams, you will ensure that the Lines are working efficiently, develop standards to eliminate loses and proactively seek opportunities to improve maintenance activities.
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, your key responsibilities include:
•Provide direction and leadership to Reporoa Site Maintenance Team
•Coordinating and continually upskilling Maintenance personnel providing a safe and worthwhile work environment.
•Own the maintenance improvement and breakdown elimination strategies
•Ensure that all Plant, Utilities and Facilities maintenance tasks have been planned, organised, and executed to a high standard.
•Responsible for eliminating unnecessary maintenance and breakdown related downtime.
•Play a key role in Asset Strategy and Preventive Maintenance standards
•Play an active role in leading MBP standards across the plant.
About you | Moe koe We are looking for a people Leader with demonstrated background in either mechanical or electrical functions. With a focus on standards creation, maintenance improvement, you will have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Your passion for problem-solving and root-cause analysis coupled with your ability to work across several teams will see you succeed in this pivotal role.
Additional skills you will bring to this role:
•Certified Mechanical or Electrical Maintenance Tradesman or Equivalent ideally with Electrical Cross-Training
•Proven technical mastery of equipment and able to develop this in others
•Profound understanding of mechanical processes and working understanding of electrical processes are desired
•Good problem-solving skills with a demonstrated knowledge of root-cause analysis techniques (RCA)
•Good working knowledge of the site's CMMS e.g. SAP.
