This site services the Shellfish operation for both our Blenheim and Havelock sites.This is a full-time role, rostered, with a minimum of 40 hours each week.You will work within a diverse and constantly changing operating environment, providing day-to-day maintenance at our Blenheim plant with a mix of reactive and proactive maintenance.Be part of this established and growing team of engineers, maintaining the production machinery as well as installing and commissioning new plant and equipment as it is added. You will become part of a small but skilled team who strive to deliver a high standard of workmanship and skillset.Talley's offers a competitive remuneration package and an exciting opportunity to further develop your career within a leading NZ company. Based on your experience and qualifications, your hourly rate will range from $35 - $50 You will need:To be a Trade Certified Fitter/Turner/Welder, or Level 4 Maintenance & DiagnosticsMinimum 5 years Industrial maintenance experience, preferably in food production and/or relevant work experience and proven successes In Preventative and Reactive maintenanceAn eye for detail and identifying areas for ImprovementGood time management, organisational skills and enthusiasm for getting it rightImpeccable communication skillsProven Health and Safety practices as a daily priorityAdvanced knowledge in the following would be beneficial:Project work, new installations, commission, etc, are all an advantageExperience and/or qualifications with ammonia refrigeration and boilers would also be advantageousAdditional InformationWhy choose Talley'sWith multiple operations within Talley's, there's always opportunities available for growth and progression.
