Machine Operators – Day/ Night Shift

Hours will depend on production requirements and which line and position you work but will be a minimum of 40 hours per week. At Walter & Wild, we want our people to be flexible and highly-skilled. To achieve this, staff may need to change lines/tasks (with notice) for production, development and training purposes.To be successful for this role, you will:Reliable transport to get to workGood working mechanical aptitude and problem solving capabilityExperience in food/FMCG production/manufacturingUnderstanding of food safety requirements and good personal hygienePhysically fit (able to stand on your feet for the whole day and lift up to 25kg)Able to problem solve and trouble shootAble to read, write and communicate in English effectivelyAble to work safely and identify hazardsAble to pass a drug test & medical requirementsLegally able to work in NZ (NZ/AU citizen, resident, unrestricted work visa)The Box Ticking Stuff:Only applicants with the right to work in New Zealand will be considered for this role.In line with Walter & Wild policy, all applicants must agree to pre-employment drug testing and health assessments (and need to pass!)
