Logistics Specialist

We are a leading, NZ owned and operated Logistics Company offering secure employment and career progression. We are looking for a Logistics Specialist for the days / afternoon / night shift at our South Auckland warehouse.
The successful applicants will have:
- Good communication skills
- High work ethic and a "hands-on" attitude
- Attention to detail
- Good mathematical skills
- Low / no history of absenteeism
- 1 year warehousing experience, including RF gun and voice pick
- Current forklift licence, counterbalance and reach an advantage
- Good H&S awareness
- Ability to identify issues, confident enough to speak up and independent enough to investigate
- Ability to meet set KPIs and follow procedures
- Available for day shift 6am start, afternoon shift 2:30pm start or nights 10:30pm start
- Reliable transport (e.g. no public transport if finish 2am)
- Must be able to work Saturdays
- Competency with IT systems and problems
- 12 months inventory experience
- can demonstrate competency with IT and systems along with problem solving
- 12 months experience on Pitan or Freightplus required
- Applicant must have a good command of the English language.
Your key responsibilities include:
Picking and packing orders
Supervising processes
Solving problems
Ensure that you are completing all paperwork correctly as required.
Maintain house keeping in all areas that you are responsible within the warehouse at the levels which meet with 'food safety' and the client's requirements as directed by management
Successful applicant must be able to pass a pre-employment/random drug and alcohol test as well as a criminal history check.
