This is a perfect opportunity for someone who likes working outside.What you will doAssist and work alongside our Landscaper with all garden and landscape upkeep and developmentYou will be required to perform the following tasks- Maintain the gardens and grounds to a high standard of presentation.- Assist other members of the Property Team as directed by the Property Manager.- Maintain all garden equipment to a high standard and ensure safe custody of the equipment.- Attend all garden-related tasks lodged to Asset where and if required engage external contractors in consultation with the Property Manager. - Carry out routine maintenance of garden machinery and equipment- Assist in deliveries of equipment, materials, etc. - Share the tasks with all property staff as per the instruction of the Property Manager.- Maintain all lawns and gardens around the campus neat & tidy by blowing/sucking fallen leaves around the buildings, pathways & driveways.- Clean all drains & gutters.- Responsible for all gardens, weeding, spraying, pruning, and removal and replacement of plants where required and in line with allocated budget. Responsible for spraying weeds as per the schedule.- Oversee waste removal, including rubbish and recycling if requested.- Use appropriate signage when conducting garden work or spraying. Keep all hazardous substances in a designated Hazchem storage facility.- Report any incidents via MyCollege and to Property Manager - Provide help for any setup as requested.- Respond to any alarm activations/emergencies and deal with them promptly and efficiently. Follow the school emergency policy and be a team player.- Liaise with the Property Manager to ensure all necessary supplies are ordered. The suitable candidate must have - 2 years of work experience in horticultural or relevant industry experience- Experience in operating role-relevant operational equipment.- Strong awareness of Health & Safety practices Other attributes- Well-organized and efficient with attention to detail- Physically fit and active- A strong team player- Applicants with a full driving license will be preferable.- Has excellent organizational and communication skills.If you believe you have what it takes, we would love to hear from you.
