Our client, a local finance company in Whangarei, is now looking for an extraordinary team member who has a passion for sales, lending, and creating great outcomes for our customers, to join their team as their new Lending and Sales Specialist. As the Lending and Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for sourcing new business, assessing and processing loans, from the application process through to loan generation. Working with the customer from first point of contact, you will seek to understand the customer's needs, adopting the applicable products, and completing the loan documents. You will build positive and meaningful relationships with customers throughout their loan journey and create further opportunities within your own local networks. We are looking for someone who is: An excellent communicator who enjoys interacting with customers and has a flexible approach when offering lending solutions.A proven sales closer, with a strong sales background and work ethic.Excellent at relationship building, with the motivation and drive to get out into the community and source new business leads.Ability to self-manage and create opportunities and reaching goals.Having a sound understanding of consumer credit and knowledge of associated legislation (CCCFA & AML/CFT) is advantageous, but not essential.In addition, you will be a natural relationship builder, injecting personality, and great service into everything you do. You may not "tick all the boxes", but if you are sales-focused, passionate about your local community, and keen to continuously seek out new business opportunities we want to hear from you.
